Accessibility Statement

Standard we work to

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and to keep the store usable with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification and speech input.

Measures we take

• Semantic headings, landmarks and lists so structure is announced correctly.
• A skip link to the main content, and a visible focus outline on every interactive element.
• Descriptive alternative text on product and editorial imagery.
• Labelled form fields, grouped controls and errors announced in context, not by colour alone.
• Colour combinations chosen for contrast, with text resizable to 200% without loss of content.
• Buttons and links that state their purpose, including for filters and quantity controls.

Known limitations

• Some product label fields currently show placeholders while supplier data is verified; the information is announced as a placeholder rather than silently omitted.
• Additional product photography is pending, so some products have a single image and no alternate views.
• Third-party payment and carrier tracking pages are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.

Accessibility is reviewed whenever we add features, using keyboard and screen-reader testing alongside automated checks. This statement is updated as issues are resolved.
